Equipment priority
An equipment preset tells a settler what to wear or wield in each slot. List your first choice on the left and add alternatives to use when it is unavailable.
Getting started
Open Equipment priority under Advanced. On Assign, choose a weapon, armor, jewellery or gear preset for a settler. On Manage, choose a category and add items to its slots with +. Hold Ctrl and drag to change their order.
Tip
If a settler keeps their old equipment, check the preset assigned to that category and whether a preferred item is available. Editing a shared preset changes the choices for everyone using it.
