Husbandry
Select a wild animal and enable Tame to request a taming job for a handler. Handlers make less progress per attempt when taming without food. Build a fenced enclosure and place an animal pen inside it. Lead tamed animals into the enclosure and provide food that suits their diet, such as grass for grazers or suitable feed in a trough. Keep a mature male and female of the same species together for breeding.
Automatic hunting
Open the pen, choose a species present in its enclosure and click Add. For each group you want to manage, enter how many animals to keep and tick its checkbox. Adult males, adult females and their young have separate limits. The pen checks once a day and marks surplus animals for hunters. For example, a limit of two adult males in a pen with five marks three for hunting.
Tip
Leave enough adults of both sexes for breeding. Turning a limit off stops new marks from that rule. To spare an animal already marked, cancel its hunting job separately.
