Factions and trade
Faction relations improve through trade, gifts, quests and rescue, but worsen when you kill their members. Relations decline over time. Good relations allow requests for traders or reinforcements, with cooldowns.
Getting started
Open Factions to inspect relations and available requests. Select a settler, right-click a visiting trader and choose Trade. When they meet, inspect quantities, prices and the exchange before confirming. Use gifts to support relations.
Tip
Check trader stock, funds, quantities and item availability if an exchange cannot proceed. Check relations and cooldowns if assistance is unavailable. Personal friendship between settlers is separate from relations between factions.
