Runes
Ability runes grant character actions; passive runes grant ongoing effects. Equipment runes modify gear. Mana runes unlock dynamic mana abilities, using researched mana ability slots rather than character slots.
Getting started
Use a character rune's inventory infusion action. Check tier, attributes and a compatible free slot; duplicates are not allowed. For equipment, choose a slot and rune, then Apply. Applying consumes the inventory rune and replaces the old slot contents.
Tip
Character rune removal returns the rune to inventory and causes rune exhaustion, which temporarily blocks further removal. Check requirements and exhaustion when an action is unavailable. Canceling an equipment preview does not remove an already infused rune.
