Farming
Draw a farming zone on suitable ground, select a crop and set its sowing dates. During that period the zone checks daily and places planting jobs when the temperature suits the crop. Supply seeds and enable automatic harvesting if you want workers to gather ripe crops.
Water and fertilizer
Dry crops grow more slowly. Rain waters outdoor plants. Enable automatic watering on the zone so workers bring water when a plant runs dry. Fertilizer speeds up growth while it lasts. Enable automatic fertilizing and stock the fertilizer that matches the crop’s tier. You can enable watering and fertilizing independently.
Tip
After changing the zone settings, click Place to apply them to existing plants immediately. If crops are slow to grow, check their light and temperature. The percentage beside the ground type shows how fast plants grow on that terrain.
