Social
Settlers’ conversations change their opinion of each other. The time of day and hidden personality traits influence the outcome. Settlers with similar traits bond more easily, while a bad interaction can start a fight. A relationship’s status also affects daily life.
Neutral
These settlers know each other but have no special relationship.
Friend
Friends prefer to belong to the same guild and gain a small mood bonus.
Rivals
Rivals prefer different guilds. Rivalry slightly lowers mood.
Couple
Partners want to share a bed. Their relationship improves mood.
Married
Spouses get a larger mood bonus for their relationship than an unmarried couple. Assign them a bed they can share.
Hostile
Hostility lowers mood. Encounters often end in a fight.
Tip
If two guild members dislike each other, have one give the other a gift to help mend their relationship. If they keep fighting, move one of them to a different settlement.
